A man died at the hospital after a wreck on Pembroke Road near the intersection of Edwards Mill Road Friday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say an SUV was exiting a parking lot and pulled into the path of an eastbound truck on Pembroke Road.
The driver of the SUV had to be cut from his vehicle and then taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health with CPR in progress but later died from his injuries.
The driver of the truck was not injured in the crash.
The road is expected to be blocked in the area until 7:00 p.m. as the crash is reconstructed by law enforcement.
