A Hopkinsville man was charged with assaulting his girlfriend with a crowbar on North Elm Street Wednesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 30-year-old Shaquan Bush hit his girlfriend with a crowbar, pushed her into a stove breaking the glass, before fleeing the area.
He was reportedly found on East 1st Street hiding in a closet and was taken into custody. Bush is charged with second-degree assault and first-degree criminal trespass.
