A woman was charged with fleeing from law enforcement after she was seen coming out of an abandoned home on North Kentucky Avenue Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they watched 22-year-old Alyssa McWherter leave an abandoned home, and when they tried to stop her, she fled, leading officers to jump fences to locate her.
She was found to have a warrant for being a fugitive from another state and two warrants for failure to appear.
The report doesn’t list her as having a home. McWherter is charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police.
