A Hopkinsville man has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for distributing methamphetamine.

According to court records, 45-year-old Troy Clark sold meth on three separate occasions in late 2021 and early 2022. He distributed over 250 grams of pure methamphetamine in total. A search of his residence on January 27, 2022, uncovered an additional two ounces intended for sale.

Clark was convicted on three counts of meth distribution and will also serve five years of supervised release following his prison term. There is no parole in the federal system.

The case was investigated by the DEA Paducah Post of Duty, IRS Criminal Investigation, Kentucky State Police, Hopkinsville Police Department, and the Christian County Sheriff’s Office.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Leigh Ann Dycus prosecuted the case as part of Operation Take Back America, a federal initiative targeting drug trafficking, organized crime, and violent offenders.
