A new truck was added to the fleet at the Pembroke Fire Department on Monday afternoon.
Pembroke Fire Department Chief Nick Belair says this new truck is replacing the outdated 1973 truck that has been out of service.
With help from various local agencies and members, Belair says the new truck was designed and built to meet their specific operational needs, taking a year with painting, adding a flat box, a custom water tank, and a pump.
