Michael Patrick McManaman, age 68, of Cadiz, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky.
He was born on October 10, 1956, in Waukegan, Illinois, to the late John Robert McManaman and Dorothy Miller McManaman.
Michael was a skilled mechanic at Hometown Auto in Cadiz, where he genuinely enjoyed his work. Before settling in Cadiz, he and his brother operated a successful construction business in Scion, Illinois, for 40 years.
An avid outdoorsman, Michael enjoyed fishing, hunting, and loved animals.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Timmy McManaman, and his sisters, Mary McManaman and Sue McManaman.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Carter McManaman of Cadiz; his children, Adam, Kyle, Taylor, Michael, and Matthew; and his sisters, Lori McManaman of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Lynn McManaman of Wyoming.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Delmont Baptist Church, located at 1955 Delmont Church Road in Cadiz, with Rev. John Mitchell officiating. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 2:00 PM.
Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz.
