The Trigg County Chamber of Commerce has officially opened applications for the 2025–2026 class of Leadership Cadiz Trigg County, a community program designed to empower and connect local leaders.
Now a biannual initiative, Leadership Cadiz continues its mission to develop informed, engaged, and effective citizens. The program offers participants a hands-on learning experience focused on leadership skills, community development, and a deeper understanding of Trigg County’s history and future.
Chamber Director Tara Rhodes-Hall told Your News Edge that participants in previous classes always learn more about the community they call home.
For the first time, applications will be submitted entirely online, streamlining the process for those interested. The deadline to apply is June 30, and selected applicants will be notified by July 11.
The program is open to individuals who live or work in Trigg County, and aims to build a stronger, more connected community by equipping emerging leaders with the tools they need to make a lasting impact.
Dustin Gilbert, Trigg County Chamber of Commerce chair, noted that Leadership Cadiz has “long been a catalyst for community involvement and personal growth,” and that officials are looking forward to bringing the program back and open doors for a new class of emerging leaders “who are ready to make a difference.”
