A wreck on Pembroke Road in Hopkinsville sent a Hopkinsville man to a Nashville hospital Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say a car driven by 34-year-old DeMarcus Williams was westbound when it collided with a truck driven by 59-year-old Derrick Quarles of Russellville, then hit a utility pole at the intersection of Eagle Way.
Williams was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health to meet with a helicopter that flew him to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
Authorities say the crash is believed to have been caused by a medical issue, but it remains under Investigation.
