Funeral Services for 32-year-old Tavaras Martis “T” Poindexter, of Cadiz, will be Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bloomfield Missionary Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 6:00 a.m.– 11:00 a.m. at King’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at the Bloomfield Missionary Baptist Church. King’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Tavaras Martis “T’ Poindexter was born in Murray, KY on September 5, 1992 to Corey Dewayne Poindexter and Crystal Loretta Street Poindexter. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George and JoElla Poindexter and maternal grandparents, Henry Lawrence Street, Sr. and Lula Mae Irvin.
He passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025.
Tavaras Martis “T” Poindexter was a 2010 graduate from Trigg County High School where he played football, a member of the Power Lifting Team and Black Hole Pep Club. After graduation he received a scholarship to Minnesota West Technical College in Worthington, MN where he played football and wrestled. He was a member of the Bloomfield Missionary Baptist Church.
He was employed at Trane in Clarksville, TN where he was a Production Associate. “T” was a loving father who loved being involved with his son, Tyrann, teaching him all about sports.
