An Ohio man was charged with trafficking drugs in Hopkinsville after a traffic stop on West 7th Street Tuesday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 47-year-old Demuiress Harris for not wearing a seat belt, and could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

After a search of the vehicle, 4 grams of cocaine that were individually packaged, suspected ecstasy pills, and marijuana were reportedly located.

Harris was arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine, operating on an expired license, failure to wear a seat belt, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, and possession of marijuana.
