Janet Marie Hargrove, age 88, of Pembroke, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Christian Heights Nursing and Rehab of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation with a celebration of life to be held at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Ms. Hargrove was born on March 16, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late Conrad Lacy Hargrove and Avia Mae Jones Hargrove. She was retired and of the Baptist faith. She was a former member of the Eastern Star. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Lacy Scott Johnson, and her sister, Mildred Joyce Alexander.
Survivors include her children, Conrad W. Gordon of Hopkinsville, Elaine Gordon Haddock of Clarksville, Clarence Gordon of Hopkinsville, Avia Marie Hollinger of Gonzales, LA; her sister, Wenoka Richardson of Clarksville; her thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
