Man Charged With Drug Possession In Hopkinsville

A Hopkinsville man was charged with drug possession in a gas station bathroom on West 7th Street Thursday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say they were told 44-year-old James Racelis had been in the bathroom for around an hour and found him in just underwear and in possession of a hypodermic needle.

Suspected meth and marijuana were also reportedly found in the bathroom.

Racelis was arrested and charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana, and public intoxication.
