A Hopkinsville man was charged with drug possession during a traffic stop on North Main Street in Hopkinsville Wednesday night.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Graden Williams for a turn signal violation and suspicious behavior.

The registration on the vehicle expired in 2018, and there was no valid insurance.

Deputies say he attempted to conceal unknown items in the area of the center console and after a search of his belongings, pills and suspected meth were found.

Williams was arrested and charged with possession of meth, tampering with physical evidence, failure to or improper signal, improper registration plate, and no insurance.
