Eric Lamar Greene, 43, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025, in Hopkinsville.
Eric, the son of Raymond (Renea) Poindexter and Angela Greene, was born on December 28, 1981, in Madisonville, KY.
Eric was a member of First Street Missionary Baptist Church and was employed at TRAD. He enjoyed being around his family, making people laugh, dancing, traveling, and taking pictures.
He is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, Martha and Herman Poindexter; Maternal Grandparents, Roger Lee and Emma Jean Williams.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Nyjana Kinbrough, Elyiria Synsiere Jenkins, Tremiyah Lenori, and Jeremiah Lamar Jenkins; Siblings, LaToya Greene, Raymond Poindexter, Dominick Poindexter, De’Von Poindexter, and Tevin Poindexter; a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 12, at noon at Gamble Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Cave Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will begin on Thursday at 11:00.
