Bertha Ann Marie Boyd was born April 20, 1944, in Louisville, to the late Alex Harrison Boyd Sr. and Martha Allen Irving.
Bertha graduated from Trigg County High School in 1963, which was the first integrated graduating class in the county. After graduating, she attended Hopkinsville Beauty
College and was a licensed cosmetologist.
Bertha departed this life on May 29, 2025, at the age of 81.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Alex Boyd, Robert Boyd, Charles Boyd, sister, Helanda Radford.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Bloomfield Missionary Baptist Church, visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the funeral time. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
Adams and Sons Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by her children, Triana Lynn Cash, Alphonso Horatio Boyd, and Sanzanna Copernita Dean. Brothers, James N. Boyd, Frank W. Boyd, and Pernell Boyd.
Six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
