Mary Kay Smith, 85, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2025 at her residence.
There will be a time to remember and celebrate the life of Mary Kay at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2025 at her residence. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
A native of Waukegan, IL she was born March 1, 1940 the daughter of the late James Edmond McGrath and Alice Mary Liebert McGrath. She retired as a Registered Nurse from Pennyrile Mental Health.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Gene Carmen Smith; her son: Gregory James Smith; and her brother: Tom McGrath; and her sister: Patricia McGrath Foster.
Survivors include her sons: Brad (Tina) Smith and Jeffery Michael Smith all of Cadiz, KY; her four grandchildren: Aleaha Hallgren, Courtney (Scott) Woyach, Brittney Hallgren and Dylan (Shaelynn) Tousignant; and five great-grandchildren: Ann Marie Hallgren, Adelyn Hallgren, Teagan Hallgren, Theodore Woyach and Dylan Tousignant, Jr.; and her nephew: Tom Foster; and her niece: Kristen Foster (Brian) King.
