An Antioch, Tennessee, woman was charged with receiving stolen property after a gun was found in her purse on Winner’s Way in Oak Grove Sunday morning.
Oak Grove Police say they were called for a purse that was found with a gun inside and located 34-year-old Daleshia Turner, who had misplaced it.
The gun inside the purse had been reported stolen, and she reportedly claimed she had purchased the gun at a pawn shop in Nashville. Police say she had a second purse on her with pills inside it, along with a powder substance.
Turner was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
