An Oak Grove man was charged with robbery after a report of a disturbance on Belmont Street in Hopkinsville Friday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called for 44-year-old Roman Abate, who had been kicking someone’s door but did not make it inside then left before law enforcement arrived..
He was located in the area and reportedly found to have a purse that had been taken by force on West 7th Street earlier in the day.
Abate was arrested and charged with second-degree robbery.
