The Kentucky Animal Control Advisory Board (KACAB) invites county and metro governments across Kentucky to apply for spay/neuter grants to help reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats.
Each applicant may receive up to $1,266, awarded on a competitive basis.
To apply or learn more, visit kyspayneuter.com. The application is available under the “Resources” tab at the top of the page.
Applications must be submitted by email no later than July 15.
Governments are encouraged to partner with non-profit organizations and to seek the most cost-effective options for spay/neuter procedures. Grant amounts will be influenced in part by the anticipated cost per animal altered.
This program is funded through the sale of Kentucky’s spay/neuter specialty license plates. When registering or renewing a vehicle, consider supporting the cause by purchasing one.
