A traffic stop in the area of Fort Campbell Boulevard in Christian County led to drug charges for a Dawson Springs woman Monday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 45-year-old Christy Hale for a broken tail light and could see an open alcohol beverage container in the vehicle.
She reportedly had an active warrant out of Hopkins County for failure to appear and after a search of her belongings suspected meth was reportedly found.
She was arrested and charged with possession of meth third or more offenses, no tail lamps, excessive windshield/ window tinting, improper display of registration plates, and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle.
