James Lee Fowler, 89, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky died at 9:24 p.m., Saturday, May 24, 2025 in McEwen, Tennessee.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 30, 2025 at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Ashby officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A native of Hopkinsville, Kentucky he was born on October 3, 1935 the son of the late William Jennings Bryan Fowler, Sr. and Eula Hergis Murdaugh.
He was a member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church and served in the United States Army. He was a farmer and owned and operated Fowler Body Shop.
Survivors include his wife: Helen Fowler of Hopkinsville, KY; his son, Greg (Pamela) Fowler of McEwen, TN. Three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
