Ann Appleby, 74, of Dawson Springs

A Celebration of Life for 74-year-old Ann Massamore Appleby of Dawson Springs, KY, will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at the Northside Baptist Church in Princeton, KY, with Bro. Wesley Curtis officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Northside Baptist Church in Princeton, KY. King’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Ann Massamore Appleby was born in Memphis, TN, on April 18, 1951, to Richard L. and Jean Simons Massamore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jim Farmer.

She passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the Tradewarter Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Dawson Springs, KY.

Ann moved to Dawson Springs at the age of 3 and lived the rest of her life there. She graduated from Dawson Springs High School in 1969. Ann worked in several professions throughout her life. She worked in the family tax business, Massamore Tax Service, for many years before going to Nursing School and becoming an RN at the age of 50 in 2000. Ann worked most of her nursing career at Dawson Pointe and Tradewater Nursing & Rehab in Dawson Springs. She retired from Dawson Pointe in December 2024, just before her cancer diagnosis.
