Former Trigg County High School Principal Tim Bush and Cadiz Baptist Church Pastor Justin Carter challenged the class of 2025 Wednesday night to allow Jesus Christ to be their guiding light.
Bush and Brother Carter were the featured speakers for Trigg County High School’s Baccalaureate service Wednesday night at the high school gym.
Bush told the class of 2025 that life is not fair, but that is life.
Bush said that calling involves more than just a career.
Cadiz Baptist Church Pastor Justin Carter used the story of Mary Magdaline at the tomb of Jesus after the crucifixion to encourage the graduating class to remember the importance of a relationship with Christ.
Carter said don’t overlook the power of Jesus.
He used an example involving three members of the class of 2025 to stress that importance.
Also during the service four senior members played for their final time with the Trigg County High School Band. Special music was presented by seniors McKenna Fisher, Gavin Kline, and Caleb Kline.
The Baccalaureate service Wednesday night set the stage for Thursday’s graduation ceremony at Trigg County High School Gym at 7:00.
