Mary “Lois” Elliott, 74, of Hopkinsville, died at 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2025, at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with Rev. Kinnith Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Lewisburg, TN she was born June 29, 1950, the daughter of the late Herman and Pauline Martin. She was a barber and owner/operator of Gate 6 Barbershop. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C.E. “Buddy” Elliott; her sisters: Joyce Ann Martin and Shirley Jean Mitchell; and her brothers: Charles David Martin, Herman Faye Martin, Tom Frank Martin, and Clyde Allen Martin.
Survivors include her daughter: Tara Baker (Eddie) Bozell of Crofton, KY; her granddaughter: Lexie Bozell (Nathan) Kenady; her great grandchildren: Elliott Kenady and Nixon Kenady; and her longtime companion: Kinnith Morris.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
