The Herndon community could soon say goodbye to the quickly beloved Bar B Que Shack II at Knockum Hill.
Owner Mindy Hargrove told Your News Edge that the building housing the restaurant will soon be auctioned following the passing of Will Hargrove.
The current last day of business will be Saturday, June 28th. Mindy added that Will had a positive impact on her business, which expanded with the help of Jeremy and Tabitha Strader.
Mindy thanked everyone who supported the location since its August 2023 opening.
This will not affect any operations at the Bar B Que Shack on Pembroke Road.
The restaurant temporarily closed from August to December 2024, after suffering damage from a fire that started in the attic near the fire pit and spread to the roof.
