A Hopkinsville man was charged with burglary after entering a home on Butler Road in Hopkinsville Tuesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 44-year-old Redrick Whitfield had been arguing with his ex-girlfriend over text messages when he showed up at her house, entered the home, and threatened to beat her until the cops arrived.
Whitfield was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary and harassing communications.
