Authorities extricated a victim with fur from a tight spot in Hopkinsville Wednesday morning.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says they had someone come to the station to have them check the vehicle for a possible cat in the area of the engine compartment.
A small kitten was found with the help of Hopkinsville Police and the cat is expected to make a full recovery.
The furry hitchhiker reprotedly hid in the engine compartment in Nashville hitching a ride all the way to Hopkinsville.
