Christian County Schools announced Monday that Tyler Stallons will serve as interim principal at Millbrooke Elementary beginning July 1.

Stallons has spent the past three years as assistant principal at Christian County Middle School, and Superintendent Chris Bentzel says Stallons brings strong leadership and a commitment to student success, calling him “a great fit” for Millbrooke during this period of transition.

Stallons began his career in the district in 2008 as a social studies teacher at Hopkinsville Middle. He later became an interventionist at CCMS, before stepping into administration.

He holds degrees from Union College, Murray State University, and the University of the Cumberlands.

In a statement, Stallons said he is “honored and humbled” to join the Millbrooke community and looks forward to working with staff, students, and families.

He lives in Hopkinsville with his wife, Carrie, a school counselor. They have two children.

The appointment follows the recent move of Millbrooke Principal Renikka Owen to interim principal at Hopkinsville Middle School.
