The Christian County FFA celebrated the 2024-25 year and welcomed a new slate of officers during their annual banquet at the Christian County Ag Expo Center May 8th.
The new slate of officers was welcomed by outgoing President Cheyanne Rodgers and her fellow officers during the banquet. New officers include President Addison Gilkey, Vice-President Cameron Williams, Secretary Carson Bird, Treasurer Sarah Godsey, Reporter Allie Grace, Sentinel Abigail Phipps, Committee Chairs Hailey Sutton, Caleb Luttrell, and Izabella Queen. Elijah Hale was named the Spirit Officer for his enthusiasm and excitement about the FFA Chapter.
Star in Agribusiness was awarded to DJ Bailey who owns and operates DJ’s Famous Lemonade. Madison Fuller was named Star Greenhand. Caleb Moss won Star in Ag Placement and Brad Cansler was named Star Farmer. Cheyanne Rodgers won the Murrell Webb Scholarship that was presented by his son Robert Webb.
