In the wake of recent flooding that damaged homes and buildings across the community, the City of Hopkinsville is stepping in to support affected property owners with rebuilding efforts.

Community and Development Services will hold three informational meetings in May to guide residents through the process of securing building and floodplain permits necessary for repairs and reconstruction.

Meeting Schedule:
Wednesday, May 14 at 6:00 p.m.
Friday, May 16 at 2:00 p.m.
Wednesday, May 21 at 4:00 p.m.

All meetings will take place in Council Conference Room #137 at the Hopkinsville Municipal Building.

City staff will be on-site to explain the permitting process, answer questions, and provide critical resources. In a move to ease the financial burden on residents, permit fees related to flood damage repairs have been waived.

Residents and property owners impacted by the floods are strongly encouraged to attend.
