A Harrisburg, Illinois, man was charged with possession of drugs on East 7th Street in Hopkinsville Sunday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped 42-year-old John Curtis after he walked into traffic, making a motorist have to apply their brakes to avoid a collision.
While talking with him, deputies say he pulled a container of suspected meth out of his pocket.
He was arrested and charged with disregarding traffic regulations by a pedestrian and possession of meth.
