A woman was rushed to a waiting helicopter after she was hit by a truck during a party on Broad Street in Hopkinsville Friday night.
Hopkinsville Police say a truck stopped in the road reversed into a parked vehicle, then went forward into a tent with several people around a table inside, before hitting a parked car and coming to a stop on top of a woman.
The woman was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health to meet with a helicopter to take her to a Nashville hospital for a head injury.
The driver of the truck was taken into custody a full list of his charges has not been released.
