Two Clarksville women were charged with possession of drugs on Winner’s Way in Oak Grove Wednesday night.
Oak Grove Police say they arrested 21-year-old Justin Mondragon of Clarksville for public intoxication, and he asked officers to let his girlfriend, who was in a vehicle in the parking lot, know he was arrested.
Police say that as they talked with the two women in the vehicle, 20-year-old Angel Denison and 43-year-old Melissa Amrhein, they appeared to be under the influence of some kind of drug.
Meth, heroin, needles, and other drug paraphernalia were reportedly located in the vehicle and in their belongings.
Both women were arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance. Amrhein was also charged with possession of heroin.
