A wreck on South Fowler Avenue sent a woman to the hospital and cut power to the neighborhood Tuesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say a southbound SUV hit a utility pole cutting it in half, then hit a fence, before hitting a house.
One person sleeping in the house was reportedly hit but was not injured.
Police say the power will be off for a while as the pole is replaced and the road will be blocked as well.
The driver of the SUV was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for treatment.
