Graveside services for 94-year-old Peggy Marie Bell, of Bowling Green, and formerly of Hopkinsville, will be 1 PM Thursday at Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the cemetery one hour prior to the service.
Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include:
Her daughter, Patti (Rob) Tyler, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee;
Her two sons, Mike (Pam) Bell, of Bowling Green, and Ron (Linda) Bell, of Hendersonville, Tennessee;
Her brother, Chas Slavens, Jr, of Puxico, Missouri;
And her nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She died at approximately 7 PM Monday, May 5, 2025, after a short illness at NHC Place Sumner, in Gallatin, Tennessee.
A native of Puxico, Missouri, she was born October 17, 1930, the daughter of late Chas and Myrtle Slavens.
She was a retired Registered Nurse of Jennie Stuart Hospital. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and her little dogs Sophie and Maggie. She was a member of St. John’s Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Lee Bell; her son, John Kevin Bell; and her grandson, Cody Lee Bell.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hildreth Adoption Center (Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society, 1924 Louisville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42101).
