Each year, letter carriers across the country head out on their routes on the second Saturday in May to collect donations of nonperishable food items to support local food pantries.
The letter carriers of Hopkinsville invite the community to join them in the fight to end hunger by participating in the annual Stamp Out Hunger® food drive Saturday, May 10.
Residents can take part by leaving a bag of nonperishable food items near their mailbox. Their letter carrier will collect the donation during regular mail delivery.
All donations collected in Hopkinsville will benefit the Salvation Army and the Micah Mission Center.
Together, they believe they can stamp out hunger.
