A clerk at a gas station on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Oak Grove was charged with trafficking drugs Monday night.
Oak Grove Police say they were called for 43-year-old Heather Stuart of Clarksville who was giving wrong change back and struggling to talk with customers.
Police say when she was asked about having any drugs on her she claimed she didn’t and attempted to conceal bags of a white powder and pills.
She then reportedly dropped a bag containing suspected drugs in the back of the police cruiser on the way to the hospital.
Stuart was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of cocaine, trafficking fentanyl, tampering with physical evidence, and public intoxication.
