Little River Baptist Association Missions Director Bobby Sellars set the stage for the service by quoting a former United States President.
Brother Ronnie Sivells provided the devotional by recalling the biblical lesson of the twelve disciples who had one request when they were asking Jesus Christ for guidance.
Sivells says prayer continue to be important, even when it is hard to find the strength to pray.
He added prayer should be a daily part of everyone’s life.
Cadiz Mayor Todd King reminded the community of the importance of prayer for local leaders and officials.
