Do you want to celebrate the 151st Kentucky Derby in style, but not travel to Louisville?
Nine Pine Retreats at 55 Piney Wood Road in Trigg County is set to host a Derby Bash party Saturday afternoon.
Owner Shane Putty told Your News Edge that the fun will start at 3:00 PM.
Putty added that there will be chances to win prizes.
Hopkinsville’s Arielle Evans will provide music for the event, and food trucks will be on-site to provide dinner options.
While visiting, you can learn more about ‘glamping.’
Admission is $25, with proceeds going to the Ordinary Hero Foundation.
The group was founded after their family’s experience adopting their son in Ethiopia. Putty and his wife, Kelly, witnessed the many orphaned children left behind and felt compelled to advocate for their adoption.
The group’s efforts led to many children finding new families, showcasing the profound impact an ordinary person can have on the world.
