A man was charged with fleeing from law enforcement in a stolen vehicle in Hopkinsville Monday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 24-year-old William Hoskins took a vehicle from the Food Giant area and then fled from them before hitting a police cruiser and wrecking the vehicle on Eagle Way.
The pursuit ended on Eagle Way between Princeton Road and Cadiz Road, with Hoskins being taken into custody.
Hoskins is charged with theft by unlawful taking, speeding, third-degree assault of a police officer, first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, first-degree fleeing or evading police, and first-degree criminal mischief.
