A Huntsville, Alabama, man was charged with drug possession and arrested on a warrant during a traffic stop on Auburn Street in Oak Grove Saturday night.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say during a routine traffic stop, the passenger in the vehicle, 27-year-old Logean Busby, and the driver gave false names to law enforcement.

Busby then reportedly became agitated and threatened to hurt himself with a box cutter.

After a search of the vehicle, deputies say suspected meth and drug paraphernalia were found, and Busby was also found to have a warrant out of Madison County, Alabama, for distributing obscene material with intent to disseminate.

Busby was arrested and charged with being a fugitive from another state, possession of meth, and tampering with physical evidence.

No information about the driver has been released.
