A Hopkinsville man was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle on Mount Zoar Latham Road in Christian County Thursday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 30-year-old Tyler Oatts took a truck without the owner’s consent but was located by law enforcement shortly after and taken into custody.
He was reportedly found to have suspected meth hidden on his body after arriving at the jail.
Oatts is charged with possession of meth, first-degree promoting contraband, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
