Trigg County Solid Waste will be accepting junk and waste tires Thursday through Saturday at the Trigg County Road Department.
Solid Waste Coordinator Ron Brown says the tire round-up is open to any Trigg County resident or farm.
Brown says farmers typically bring several tires each year.
He adds the Trigg County Tire Round-up usually collects multiple truckloads.
Brown says the tire round-up would not be possible without the assistance of Trigg County Jailer James Hughes and his crew of Christian County Jail inmates.
No appointment is needed to participate in the tire round-up. The Trigg County Road Department is located at 2759 Hopkinsville Road in Cadiz behind the Trigg County Recycling Center.
