Man Charged With Drug Possession After Disturbance

A report of a disturbance on Spring Street in Hopkinsville led to drug charges for a Hopkinsville man Saturday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the area for a disturbance and located 31-year-old Timothy Lyle, who was on Greenville Road and would not identify himself.

He was found to have an active warrant for probation violation and to be in possession of suspected marijuana and meth.

Police say he pulled away from them while being arrested. Lyle is charged with possession of meth, resisting arrest, and possession of marijuana.
