A Hopkinsville woman has been charged after a man was shot during a fight on Bryan Street in Hopkinsville Saturday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they received a call of a disturbance and a man who had been shot in the leg and was walking on East 14th Street.
The man was located and taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health due to his injuries.
Police say when they arrived on Bryan Street, 20-year-old Madison Klar, who was at the home, was also taken to the hospital due to injuries to her face.
After talking with Klar and the man who was shot, Police say it was found she shot him in the back of the leg during the fight.
Klar was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
