There will be no services at this time for 67-year-old Robert L. McCluskey, of Gilbertsville, and formerly of Cadiz.
Goodwin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include:
His wife of 37 years, Tina Mart McCluskey;
A son, Lucas McCluskey (Jasmine Hargrove), of Calvert City;
A daughter, Toshua McCluskey (Daniel Woodford), of Benton;
Four grandchildren, Rylan Shelton, Braylen Freeman, Londyn Freeman, and Nanami McCluskey;
Two brothers, Terry McCluskey (Pam), of Brownsville, and James Earl McCluskey, of Freetown, Indiana;
And three sisters, Crystal Powell and Cathy Stone, of Cadiz, and Sandra Britt (Bobby), of Princeton.
He died at 9:45 PM, Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Mercy Health – Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
He was born August 8, 1957, in Glasgow, Kentucky, the son of late James Delmer McCluskey and Mary Elizabeth Brummett McCluskey.
He was a dedicated farm worker for many years. He enjoyed watching old westerns, but he was a true outdoorsman at heart, happiest when he was mushroom hunting or searching for ginseng in the woods.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Joshua McCluskey.
