Twelve Trigg County High School students spent the year attending montly trips to various industries in Trigg County and Western Kentucky through the Youth Leadership club. Students were chaperoned by three high school faculty members.
U.S. History teacher Cameron Brown, who is finishing his second and last year advising the club, shared why he finds the club important.
Algebra teacher Alesha Allen said she began working with the club as a way to connect with her hometown.
Gifted and Talented Coordinator Angelica Garnett expressed her appreciation for the connections formed between this year’s participants.
The Trigg County Youth Leadership club will end off their year with a final meeting at the Trigg County Complex for an award ceremony, honoring the students for their exceptional work throughout the year.
