Trigg County residents who sustained damage from the recent round of flooding and severe weather need to document the issues and report them to the county judge executive’s office.
Trigg County Judge Executive Stan Humphries says there are specific guidelines concerning damage to homes and buildings.
Humphries says reporting problems to his office will help determine the amount of damage in Trigg County.
He adds the county is also considering applying for public assistance.
Judge Humphries says don’t wait on FEMA to make a determination before repairing damage to your home.
He adds the county is continuing to work to get roads and bridges in the county inspected and reopened to traffic as flood waters continue to recede.
