The City of Hopkinsville is issuing industrial building revenue bonds up to $230 million to help Toyota Boshoku Western Kentucky. City Council voted unanimously Tuesday night at a special called meeting to approve the sale.
Bonding Attorney, Mark Franklin says these industrial bonds are different from the ones taken out for Ascend Elements.

In other business, City Council voted to approve the second readings of the annexation of the Berry Property on the new KY-115 connector and the zoning of the new gas station on Pembroke Road. Council instructed the City Clerk to draw up zoning ordinances for 3125 and 3165 Cadiz Road and 4526 Lafayette Road. Several Board appointments were made.
