Linda K. Still, age 69, of Tallahassee, FL, formerly of Hopkinsville, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025, at her home of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Life to be 1:00 PM Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM until the time of services at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family with the care of their loved one.
Ms. Still was born on May 10, 1955, in Fort Knox, KY, the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Vivian Smith Byers. Linda was retired from Planters Bank, and she formerly worked for the City of Hopkinsville at the Mayor’s Office and the Horseshoe. Linda loved to travel with friends, golf, ride horses, and get out and enjoy life.
Survivors include her son, Charles “Joey” Still and his wife Tara of Elizabethtown and her daughter, Kimberly Proffitt and her husband Billy Joe of Mortons Gap; her brother Charles E. Byers, Jr. and his wife Janet of Murray; her sister, Joan Atkinson of Tallahassee; and her grandson, Eli Still.
